It’s been a good and bad year for Shawols. Good as in Shawols got to see SHINee perform in many places this year. Bad as in Shawols are going broke. Fast. SM Entertainment has officially announced that SHINee will be releasing a 2012 Diary for you to write in and keep all your secrets in one place. The cover is pearl aqua, the official color of the fanclub. In addition, it will come with a set of postcards featuring the boys (15P). DIARY INFORMATION: size : 120*180*20 mm page : 264 Pages Materials: paper, etc. Binding: Paperback Binding Package: plastic wrap From : South Korea No information on the price, but what with the first Japanese album, Japan tour photobook, Barcelona photobook, calendar, etc., Shawols’ wallets will be crying miserably. Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk leaves DJ positions on Kiss the Radio

After five years with the radio program, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have revealed that they will be stepping down from the DJ positions on KBS Cool FM’s “Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio.” The two Super Junior members began DJing for the radio program back in August 21, 2006 and after five years and three months, they have announced their departure from the show. The radio show on December 4 will be their last episode as DJs. On November 30th, producers of the radio program revealed that the two idols were leaving due to their busy individual activities. However, Super Junior fans don’t have to shed very many tears as fellow Super Junior members Sungmin and Ryeowook will be filling in their spots. Although groups like SNSD, and Infinite showed interest in the DJ positions, producers wanted to maintain the “Super Junior” aspect of the show and personally requested for Sungmin and Ryeowook to become the new DJs. Through their roles as DJs on ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have earned the titles as “longest idol DJ” with their departure.

Super Junior will be bringing Snow White to your ears

Nope, not Kim Kibum unfortunately. But ELFs, this is good news: it seems that Super Junior has a brand new spanking song in the works and this time, it’s in Japanese! The song is titled Snow White (hence the Kibum reference) and it seems to have a somewhat Christmas melody in the 37-second preview that we’re given. I’m assuming that it will be part of their “Mr. Simple” Japanese single that’s slated to come out in a few weeks, but until it’s officially confirmed, listen to the preview!

SHINee’s Key is ready to chomp down on New York pizza

Boy band SHINee recently enjoyed performing at the 2011 Billboard KPOP Masters in Las Vegas and staying a couple days extra, probably to recuperate and enjoy the sights of Sin City. Key shared a picture on the group’s me2day, where it depicts the singer about ready to munch on some delicious-looking pizza. He added the following caption to the picture, “A good Time in Las Vegas ‘-’”. I haven’t been in this casino for a while (because you know, Asian families love to go to Las Vegas during holiday breaks - least my family did), but I’m pretty sure that this is in the New York New York casino. And even though he’s simply eating, he’s still dressed up like his usual fashionista self. Hope you didn’t get that jacket dirty.

HyunA and B2ST’s Hyunseung lock lips on a world wide live broadcast!

This wasn’t just an innocent peck on the lips, but some full on lip locking! Fans were watching the live broadcast of the 2011 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) with the hope of seeing their favorite groups on stage, but resulted in getting more action then they hoped for! The event took place during the live world wide broadcasting of the 2011 MAMAs when B2ST took the stage performing an orchestra version of “Fiction”. Mid-way through the song, HyunA appeared on a bloody bed with a graveyard like theme overhead with Hyunseung soon dancing across the stage. The pair delivered a short sexy dance, and then engaged in a full on mouth-on-mouth lip lock, that enraged fans across the globe! After the short dance, HyunA then disappeared from sight, and the remaining B2ST members took the stage once more to finish their performance. HyunA and Hyunseung are the first unit group from CUBE Ent, but perhaps they have more of a connection then we all first thought? What’s done is done, and they can’t take it back. However, B2ST’s fans are certainly doing there all to make HyunA prevent it. Angry and rude remarks have already been made against HyunA from plenty of loyal B2ST fans. I’m curious on how CUBE will stop a scandal from happening about this duo. What are your thoughts on this situation?

BEAST’s extraordinary performance on 2011 MAMA leaves fans begging for more

Mnet Asian Music Awards is finally here! BEAST’s performance had the audiences go ridiculously wild as they heat things up performing the orchestra version of their track, “Fiction”. Pianist, Lang Lang performed a short piece at the beginning of the performance, capturing audience’s hearts. Wait, there’s more. The newly formed unit from Cube Entertainment, ‘Trouble Maker’ appeared in the middle of the performance, causing audiences to go haywire, screaming uncontrollably at the top of their lungs. Exaggerated much? 4minute’s HyunA and BEAST’s Hyunseung did a little drama on the stage, kissing intensely along the way. I dare not imagine the audience’s response on that. The sound of both of them dancing with a graveyard-like background sounds exciting, no? Sounds like a horror movie to me. Take a look at the performance and tell me what you think about it:

Kim Hyun Joong to finally come back with another drama!

Just recently, singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong has revealed to the world that he will finally be back starring in a drama around next year. During a press conference on November 29th for the ‘2011 MAMA‘ in Singapore’s Sands Expo Convention Center, Kim Hyun Joong said, “It hasn’t been officially revealed yet, but I will be acting in April of next year. We originally had a world tour in mind, but we postponed that for the drama.” He continued, “I heard that I did well on the Billboard charts. I am very happy about that. INFINITE will gift fans with a new single for Christmas

Since Christmas is right around the corner, many K-pop artists have been preparing to release a Christmas single for their fans, and INFINITE is one of them! Although the boys are currently in Japan promoting their debut single “BTD” (Before the Dawn), they will be releasing a Christmas single in seven days! Aside from the countdown on the group’s official website, Woollim Entertainment has not released any details about the group’s new single. It is also unknown at this point whether INFINITE will be promoting their new song on music programs or if it will just be a digital release.

2NE1 turns head with their unique airport fashion

On November 27th, 2NE1 caught the eyes of many with their unique airport fashion as departed for the ‘2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards‘ (‘MAMA’) in Singapore. Member Dara stood out the most with her pink bright pink jacket, comfortable jeans and loafers. Leader CL went for a more sophisticated look and donned her trademark shades, sheer stockings, platform booties, and a layered black mini-dress. Park Bom looked fierce in her black fur jacket, leopard-print heels, cross-patterned stockings and super short shorts. B1A4 will leave it up to Chance for new album

Looks like there will be another idol group leaving it up to Chance for their new album. And by Chance, I don’t mean Lady Luck. I mean One Way’s Chance. Previously, Chance made headlines by announcing his involvement with MBLAQ’s upcoming album and it seems that he will be helping out with B1A4’s newest album as well. He left a tweet in his Twitter that read, “From today on, I’m staying in the work studio for my B1A4 dongsaengs’ album. Sta~rt.” This is Chance’s second time working with B1A4 as he previously wrote a.track for the group for their 2nd mini-album (”My Love” for “it B1A4″). Looks like it’ll be promising!

T-ara’s Jiyeon to appear in Dream High 2!

With the popularity of the drama’s first season, many have been showing interest in the brand new cast for KBS production ‘Dream High 2‘. A few K-pop stars, including SISTAR’s Hyorin and Ailee, have already been confirmed for the drama and now we’ve got another idol joining the cast, T-ara’s Jiyeon! Jiyeon was casted during a meeting with the producers last weekend and since she already has some experience with acting, many are showing high interest for her appearance in the drama. Jiyeon commented, “Although I’m already busy with domestic and foreign promotions, after reading the synopsis for ‘Dream High 2′ I decided to take it because it was a role that I wanted to play. I wanted to relive memories of my trainee days and as a hardworking student before it was too late,” and further added, “I’ll be putting a lot of effort into it, so please be expecting it.”

One of this year’s hottest groups has been boy band INFINITE and it’s no secret that the group has garnered attention from one of the hottest girl groups, SNSD. In particular, a brief snippet from SNSD Star Life Theater showed Sooyoung and Yuri singing to INFINITE’s “Be Mine” as they were getting ready for what seems to be a performance of “The Boys”. Sooyoung was just hilarious. And I love how Yuri was pushing her away from the camera, heh.

BEAST and MBLAQ show off their love for one another

Despite BEAST and MBLAQ debuting within a day of one another and being compared to by the media (and some fans), the two groups have shown that there are no feelings of rivalry, but rather friendship and love. Both groups recently performed in front of many screaming fans at the Billboard KPOP Masters in Las Vegas and the two groups managed to get a picture together backstage. As the teacher was about to reveal his grades as well, Leeteuk had enough and went against it. However, feeling curious, Kang Sora insisted on seeing her husband’s grades. Remember SECRET’s Hyosung who had a fall and ended up with a torn cartilage on her left knee and fractured right foot? Well, it seems that the idol do not wish to miss out all the fun on ‘2011 Melon Music Awards‘. Hyosung appeared on the stage along with the rest of the members to receive their award under the Top 10 Artists category. But of course, she managed to get on stage with some help as her legs were in cast along with a crutch. During their speech, Hyosung stated, “I apologize for coming on stage like this. 4minute’s Hyuna and BEAST’s Hyunseung are causing trouble with new teaser

A few days prior, Cube Entertainment surprised many fans with an unexpected duo project that would feature 4minute’s Hyuna and BEAST’s Hyunseung. The two are forming the unit Trouble Maker and a new teaser of the two has been unveiled. Both of them are seen in a flash of dance step sequences. It seems as if the picture is placing an emphasis on their dance skills. Hyunseung, who will be known as JS in the unit, is suave and cool while Hyuna crouches down and gazes with confidence. The song will be released on December 1st. You know, since the two will be in Las Vegas, I wonder if they’ll perform the song.

MBLAQ’s G.O struggles to get away from Jason, Seungho eggs him on

It looks like one member won’t be “appreciating” his leader’s actions. MBLAQ has been enjoying their stay in Las Vegas and maybe a little too much. G.O posted a picture through his Twitter and revealed an amusing scene, “Oh no, Jason~ But, Seungho’s face seems a little too bright..” G.O seems to have been caught by Jason, the famous horror character of Friday the 13th. Seungho seems to be content on watching from the sidelines. It more looks like Jason is dangling G.O over something. That or G.O is flying. Akanishi Jin has announced that he will be releasing a new single, titled “Seasons”, on December 28th! He has also revealed information about his fan event at Yokohama Arena on January 7th, 2012. The single will be released in two different versions, a regular and limited edition. The regular edition comes with a special 16-page photo booklet, while the limited edition includes a DVD containing the title track’s PV and its making-of video. Following the single’s four seasons theme, fans will be able to choose from four different cover jackets for the limited edition. Regarding his title track, Akanishi said, “It’s a love song, but it is not only for men and women, or lovers. It’s a song of love toward everything, including family or friends who you cherish.” Fans who purchase both the limited and regular editions of his upcoming mini-album “TEST DRIVE featuring JASON DERULO“, which will be released on December 7th, will have the privilege of buying tickets for the fan event over others. During the fan event, fans will be able to listen to songs for his upcoming U.S. album, ask questions directly to Akanishi during the public interview, enjoy a live performance, and receive a surprise present that Akanishi prepared. Don’t expect SM Entertainment artists to appear on ‘Dream High 2′, not happening

KBS has just announced a disappointing news to those who anticipated for SM Entertainment artists to appear on drama ‘Dream High 2‘. It is confirmed that they will not be involved in the drama. The company had previously agreed on collaborating with KeyEast Entertainment and JYP Entertainment for the drama. Unfortunately, they had to back out on the plan as their artists already had enough stuffs to worry about at the moment including their never-ending overseas schedules. A representative from KBS revealed, “We focused on casting with the plan that SM Entertainment artists would take part in Season 2 based on Season 1′s success, but schedules were so tight that the plan eventually amounted to nothing.” Disappointing indeed but “there’s nothing we can do about it.” Here’s something to cheer you up, KBS has confirmed that 2AM‘s Jinwoon, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, actress Kang Sora, and rookie Ailee will be taking part in the drama.

Se7en snaps a photo with his Japanese fans

On November 23rd, singer Se7en updated his me2day page and wrote, “This was at a recent fan meet in Japan. I was so glad to see my Japanese fans again, everyone say kimchi!”

The singer then attached a photo of himself taking a photo with Japanese fans.

He then went on to promote YG Family’s 15th anniversary concert and wrote, “Now that we’ve loosened up at the fan meet, get ready to party at the YG FAMILY Concert next week! We are preparing to put on an awesome show, so see you guys soon.”

Netizens commented, “Oh I should be in that photo too“, “I want to see the selca photo!”, and “Se7en is probably the first to take a selca like that!”

Third member of TS Entertainment’s new boy group looks similar to SHINee’s Key

TS Entertainment revealed a photo of the third member of their new boy group as well as Bang Yong Guk‘s partner in his new sub-unit, Zelo!

Zelo may only be 15 years old but don’t let his age fool you into thinking he’s just a little kid with no skills as he stands at 6 feet tall and is also the rapper of the group.

In the photo revealed, Zelo is donning a big mask that covers half of his face. The mask allows Zelo to appear mysterious, causing fans to anticipate his upcoming debut.

TS Entertainment revealed, “Zelo is the youngest out of the members who are scheduled to debut, but he is a talented individual who possesses great potential, as he can rap in addition to performing acrobatics and dance. Zelo comes from ‘Zelos’, the god of rivalry in Greek mythology. He was named so because we saw how hard he tried amongst all the hyungs.”

Zelo will be partnering up with Bang Yong Guk to create a unit together. The duo will release their music video for ‘Never Give Up’ (featuring SECRET’s Hyosung) on November 25th through TS Entertainment’s homepage and several online sites.

Anyone else get a SHINee’s Key vibe from him? Maybe it’s the hair (or the fact his face is half covered), but the two look similar to me.

4minute’s HyunA to collaborate with BEAST’s Hyunseung

On November 23rd, Cube Entertainment revealed some hints on their upcoming project through their Twitter account and tweeted a link to a 10 second audio segment featuring a whistle melody.

Fast forward another day and Cube has now uploaded a photo of 4minute’s Hyuna and BEAST’s Hyunseung along with the caption, “Trouble Maker! 2011. 12. 01.” The photo of the two idols glammed out at a party has left many fans curious as to what Cube has in store for them.

Teen Top celebrates L. Joe’s 18th birthday

November 23rd marks the 18th birthday for Teen Top member L. Joe. The birthday boy celebrated his birthday with his fellow members and recently shared a photo of his party through TEEN TOP’s official Twitter account.

Along with the photo, he wrote, “Thank you to all you Angels who wished me a Happy Birthday ♥ Today was a really good day ♥”

Dressed in warm winter jackets, the members are seen with serious expressions on their faces to juxtapose their silly hats. L. Joe is seen sporting his own comical hat while holding his birthday cake.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk was mistaken for an old Bristish lady

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk guested on the November 22nd episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ and shared a story about how he had been mistaken for an old British lady. Eunhyuk began, “I went to the United Kingdom after I finished performing at an SM New York concert. I watched a Premier League game between Chelsea and Arsenal.” He then showed a photo he had taken at the stadium to prove his statement. He continued, “The game was aired live in Korea as well. One of my fans captured me and released those pictures online.” The photo Eunhyuk revealed was a blurry photo of a person with blonde hair, very similar to his own hair color. Turns out that the person the fan, and everyone else, had thought was Eunhyuk was actually an old British lady. The real Eunhyuk was photographed in a crowd shot, and was barely visible. Meanwhile, this episode of ‘Strong Heart’ also saw the appearances of Wonder Girls, Jang Jae In, Lee Bon, and Song Dae Kwan.

SHINee’s Key and Onew look baller on the plane

This week, SHINee has quite a number of activities piled up. Not only will they be attending the Billboard KPOP Masters in Las Vegas this weekend, but for two full days prior, they will be preparing for their SHINee 1st Concert Tour in Osaka on the 24th and 25th. Key snapped a picture with his leader, Onew, and wrote on the group’s me2day, “On the plane to Osaka!! We’ll come back after the concert! ‘-’” The two of them can be seen wearing sunglasses, giving them a baller status, while staying fashionably chic. I saw their pictures at the Taiwan airport from this weekend and they look undeniably tired. And where are you going back to, Key? Korea? Japan? The US? Just get rest, please!

INFINITE makes Dongwoo cry on his birthday

Earlier today, we reported that INFINITE’s Dongwoo sent fans a video message on his birthday. Fellow member Hoya recently uploaded a photo through his me2day account and wrote, “Dongwoo’s hidden camera surprise birthday was a success~!!! Our love, the cry baby hahaha. Happy Birthdayyy, next year we’ll make him cry again. The chances of that happening is 99.9%…” The attached photo revealed the INFINITE members surrounding a crying Hoya with smiles on their faces. 2PM asks you to put your Hands Up in Japanese PV

The boys of 2PM have been experiencing much success in Japan, even selling all 100,000 tickets for their first Arena Tour within a minute. The group previously released the audio for the Japanese version of their Korean hit, “Hands Up“, but they’ve now finally released the PV for the song! There isn’t anything new to the PV, in fact, all the scenes in the Japanese PV are the same as the ones in their Korean MV. The only difference is, they’re now singing in Japanese.
