U-KISS made quite an entrance to the JPOP scene with its amazing Japanese debut, Tick Tack, and on February 29th, 2012, the boys are ready to make you excited with their second Japanese single. Titled Forbidden Love, the catchy song was played on Japanese radio. The quality isn’t too great, but it’s only a preview of the greatness to come. Listen to it below - what do you think?

Brian Joo apologizes for calling Super Junior’s Siwon a thief

Singer Brian Joo sent his apologies for jokingly calling Super Junior’s Siwon a thief via his Twitter page. Brian guested on the January 28th edition of “World Changing Quiz” and said, “Siwon would often take my clothes or hats that I bought from overseas and wear them without asking.” However, fans saw this as an insult to Siwon, causing Brian to feel the need to apologize for what he said. The day after the show’s broadcast, Brian tweeted, “He’s a dongseng that I love and care for so much so I was just joking around to make the broadcast more fun but I think I went a bit overboard - I’m deeply sorry. I hope no one will misunderstand.” He continued, “Our Siwon is such a nice friend with great manners. Siwon, I’m sorry that I made people misunderstand. Siwon, I love you.” Another event just showing how some fans need to learn how to chill.

B1A4’s Gongchan Chases Jinyoung and Sandeul with a Fighter Jet

Or at least he edited one in… The playful boys of B1A4 looks like they had some fun during their spare time as the group’s maknae, Gongchan revealed some hilarious video clips that he edited featuring Jinyoung, Sandeul, and a jet. Gongchan (@b1a4_gongchan) started tweeting his teasers around 12 Midnight (KST) on February 1st with “Jinyoung Hyung escape~~~!!!!!” and the clip below of Jinyoung running away from the incoming jet! Moments later, he followed up with “Jinyoung Hyung, Sandeul Hyung!! Hurry up! I told you to escape…!!” and a video of the boys walking and suddenly, a missile strikes! And he finished his tweets with one last video and the message, “Jinyoung Hyung… Sandeul Hyung…Please…Please…I told you to escape…ㅠㅜ” Haha! Did you enjoy Gongchan’s clips? Super Junior’s Siwon snaps a photo with is fans in Thailand

Super Junior’s Siwon has shown off his superior genes once again in his latest selca shared via Twitter. He uploaded the above photo on the 31st and tweeted, “I’m on the set of the photoshoot for ACER with our families, ELF. Thanks for coming and being my family”. While Siwon was busy with the photoshoot, fans waited outside of the building while holding up signs, showing their love for the idol. To show his appreciation to the fans, Siwon took a photo facing the fans. Siwon’s handsome features cannot be denied in the photo. Such dedication from fans!

Kim Hyun Joong’s debut Japanese single ‘Kiss Kiss’ sells over 100,000 copies!

Kim Hyun Joong has managed to grab a hold of the #2 spot on the Oricon Weekly chart by selling over 100,000 copies of his debut Japanese single, “Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy“! The Oricon Chart data released on the 31st shows that Kim Hyun Joong came second to AKB48‘s popular sister group SKE48. Kim Hyun Joong is the first overseas artist in nine months to have accomplished this feat. The last to have achieved this was actor Jang Geun Suk with his debut single “Let Me Cry”. This is also the first time in 3 years and 7 months for Kim Hyun Joong to place on the Oricon chart, as he previously grabbed the #4 spot back in June of 2008 with ”Lucky Days” as a member of SS501. Currently, Kim Hyun Joong is focusing on his Japanese activities and will be performing for 20,000 fans at the Yokohama Arena on February 5th. Congratulations to Kim Hyun Joong!

BEAST’s Junhyung passes out on the floor

With their concert tour, Beautiful Show, to begin this coming weekend, it’s no surprise that BEAST has been practicing non-stop to ensure that they give fans a delightful and fantastic show. However, it looks like the non-stop practice and hard work has begun to take its toll. Yoseob shared a picture of Junhyung on Twitter and commented how the rapper passed out on the floor. He tweeted, “He left the studio in the morning and rehearsed with the band as well as the choreography before downing an energy drink. He still couldn’t hold out and eventually fell asleep on the floor. He’s gone to another individual schedule now. Please find strength, Yong Jun Hyung.” It seems that Junhyung is at the point of utter exhaustion and just sprawled on the ground to sleep, not caring about his surroundings. An energy drink is seen close by. Fans were concerned about Junhyung and wished that Junhyung was getting enough rest. Hope he does get enough rest - that’s terrible. And it doesn’t look comfortable.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk is disappointed that he is being called a ‘bad guy’

Not too long ago, we reported about how Super Junior’s Eunhyuk made actress Lee Sena cry during the group’s blind dates on MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘. During most of the episode, Eunhyuk and Lee Sena were constantly showing interest in one another and even became a couple in the middle round. When it came to the final round, Eunhyuk chose Son Eun Seo, who was already a couple with Donghae, instead and caused Lee Sena to tear up. This earned him the name “bad guy”, and the topic became a hot debate amongst netizens. Eunhyuk headed to Twitter after the episode was aired and expressed his disappointment to Leeteuk about the episode. He said, “Be it a script or not, it seems like I can’t do variety shows from now on, hyung. What’s my point of being funny if I’ve become into a completely bad guy?” Leeteuk replied, “What do you mean the bad guy? You worked so hard! I couldn’t have survived without you. People said they watched it because of you~ Don’t worry about it. Your ad-libbing and sense of humor is the best! Who said you’re the bad guy? Bring them to me!” Eunhyuk tweeted back, “No, I really think I was the bad guy. But EunTeuk was the best! I get along with you the best, hyung.” Leeteuk then took full responsibility of what happened and sent a tweet directed to the audience. He said, “If there are any problems, please ask me or just solely attack me. The cast did their best according to the situation, so please do not point out who was the good or bad person, and just enjoy the show. Thank you. My fault is the greatest.”

BEAST’s Yoseob makes your heart stop with another cute baby picture

Looks like someone is yearning for Lunar New Year to come back as BEAST’s Yoseob posted a picture of himself as a baby munching on some ricecakes. He tweeted, “Yoseob eating ricecakes.” The picture was dated on January 5th, 1991, which makes him officially one year old in the picture (or two years of age, if you take into consideration the Korean way of counting age). The cute baby picture sent fans squealing as they were delighted to see such an adorable picture of Yoseob. His big ears are so apparent in his baby picture, heh.

BEAST’s Yoseob goes out of his way to create a memorable towel for fans

BEAST will be kicking off their concert tour, Beautiful Show, in Seoul this weekend and they have prepared some special and memorable surprises for fans. One such surprise was the towel that Yoseob personally made for fans. It’s a handdrawn towel that features a “beast” and a “beauty” cartoon that says that BEAUTY is the best. 100 of said towels will be given out to 100 lucky fans. An official commented, “The towels were Yoseob’s idea, and he wants to surprise the fans with a unique gift. The drawings aren’t perfect, but they will serve as a nice gift to give out at the performances.” It doesn’t matter if the drawing isn’t perfect - what’s important is that it’s a gift from the heart and all that matters is the effort and thought put into it. Lucky 100 fans!

SNSD’s Sunny to join Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Key for Catch Me if You Can + teaser released

There has been quite a bit of news regarding the upcoming musical Catch Me if You Can as it was to showcase Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and SHINee’s Onew. But official news and a poster showed that Key would actually be in the musical rather than Onew. And now, a third SMTOWN artist will enter the foray.
Sunny is slated to appear in the musical, as evidenced by the preview that was released. Sunny will be playing the role of Brenda, love interest of main character, Frank. She will share the role with CSJH The Grace’s Dana and Choi Woori. Meanwhile, Kyuhyun and Key will be playing Frank. Check out the preview below - who’s excited to watch this musical?

SHINee to release live concert album, THE 1st CONCERT ALBUM: SHINee World

Last year, SHINee kicked off the new year with their concert in Seoul, THE 1st CONCERT: SHINee World, and now, a year later, the live album for said concert will be released.
The album will be dropping in stores and online on February 1st, which is next week, and will feature songs performed throughout the two-day concert. There will be 2 CDs for a total of 34 tracks. In addition to their hit songs, fans will get to enjoy the member’s solo performances.

Super Junior’s Siwon jumps excitedly in London

Super Junior’s Siwon has updated fans once again about his whereabouts in London! On January 28, Siwon shared the above photo via his Twitter and wrote, “I’m on my way to NIZUNI. Nice sushi place. address: 22 Chalotte street London W1T 2NB.”
The photo shows Siwon jumping excitedly on the streets of London. He looks quite funny with his super excited face.
Fans commented, “Oppa, you look really excited at visiting London”, “He looks energetic, playful”, “What brought you to London? Are you on a trip?”
Sounds like Siwon’s a little lonely and wants his fans to find him!

Super Junior’s Siwon’s Twitter Hacked

Super Junior’s Siwon had fun in London, but while he was away someone apparently hacked his twitter.
On January, 28th Siwon tweeted the news, saying “Someone hacked my account :(. I know who did [it]. but i’m not gonna tell. JUST DON’T DO THAT ANYMORE. please”
Of course, after the notice fans tweeted messages of support for Siwon and messages of annoyance towards the hacker.
Poor Siwon. He has such a strong presence on Twitter and because of that, his Twitter account is definitely a target. But I really wish people would stop doing it!

ELFs go crazy at the sight of Super Junior’s Siwon, Kyuhyun, and Eunhyuk in Manila

The presence of Super Junior’s Siwon, Kyuhyun, and Eunhyuk in Manila, Philippines is causing ELFs in the area to go crazy. The Super Junior members are currently in Manila to film a CF for fried chicken restaurant, Kyoch0n. After member Siwon tweeted about his arrival in the Philippines on January 1st, fans have been on a mission to hunt him down. However, he made the mission a lot easier for fans when he tweeted, “Now we are at Orchard Road Metro Manila‎ Quezon City.” Once Siwon revealed their location, hundreds of fans flocked to the area, catching the security staff off guard. Their CF shoot even got canceled due to the large number of fans that showed up, causing Siwon to apologize and tweet, “Sorry because of us your shooting got canceled“. However, the Super Junior members are aware that the fans are just excited due to their love for the group and showed their gratitude to the Philippine fans. Siwon wrote, “Philippine you’re amazing. Wonderful!” while Kyuhyun tweeted, “I appreciate the love of ELF of the Philippine”.

Several idols have sent their New Year’s greetings to fans and now BEAST has joined in the fun. The group’s greetings was recently aired through channel cable KBS World. J.Y. Park praises 2PM’s strong teamwork

JYP Entertainment’s J.Y. Park recently praised his idol group, 2PM, for their strong teamwork. He updated his Twitter on the 3rd and wrote, “Had a 2012 meeting with 2PM. It was amazing to see how much these guys truly care for each other and put [their] team [before] themselves.” He added, “The six of them have yet to have any real discord until now. They are awesome. U-KISS’ Soohyun looks better without makeup

U-KISS‘s Soohyun has shared photos of himself with makeup and without makeup via his Twitter. On the 31st, he tweeted, “Revealing before and after makeup. Look at this. This face turns into this face. I don’t think eyeliner works for me,” and attached the above two photos. In both photos, Soohyun is seen wearing casual clothes but one photo shows him wearing makeup and the other doesn’t. In the photo without makeup, Soohyun looks younger and more innocent. MBLAQ starts a new year with a new single. In order to satisfy fans’ cravings, J.Tune Camp released MBLAQ’s new single, “Scribble” on Youtube. The music video of the single is reported to be out in a while. The track, a ballad, plus the involvement of acoustic guitar sounds and handclaps is rather soothing and sentimental. Super Junior’s Ryeowook makes Leeteuk cry on first day of 2012

Super Junior’s Leeteuk is currently 30 years old and is not to pleased with his age as he is often surrounded by younger idols, including his fellow members who love poking fun at his age. The Super Junior leader recently revealed how the first day of his new year was ruined by Ryeowook’s joke. Leeteuk updated his Twitter and wrote, “I started 2012 with having a meal with members but I feel like crying when Ryeowook asked, ‘How’s the meal in 30s?’” Leeteuk’s tweet caused many fans to laugh and reply, “Evil maknae, he is staying with Kyuhyun to much” ,”Oh! Baby is getting old but for us you’re the same” ,”Leeteuk use your western card, acoording to which you’re still in 20s.” Looks like Ryeowook has been getting lessons from the evil maknae Kyuhyun!

U-KISS’ Kevin Kicks Off The New Year…With a Cold

The three days of music festivals has ended and the new year is underway! Unfortunately for U-KISS‘ Kevin he has started the new year off with a cold. Kevin posted the above picture and message on his Twitter account (@Kevinwoo91) on January 2nd: “Starting the new year off with a cold…oh man -_-; Hope you guys don’t catch one like me! Have a great FIRST Monday!” Awww what a disappointing way to start off the new year. Poor Kevin… I hope he gets some rest. :( Happy First Monday of the Year Everyone!!!

INFINITE’s L falls on MBC Gayo Daejun stage, Woolim Entertainment says he’s fine

INFINITE took part in the 2011 MBC Gayo Daejun with an exhilarating performance of Paradise, Before The Dawn, and Be Mine. But right after this special performance, member L fell on stage, prompting INSPIRITS to be worried about his well-being. The boys’ agency, Woolim Entertainment, assured fans that he was alright and commented, “L fell in the middle of the extended stage… Although it could have been a dangerous situation, he did not suffer any injuries. There is no need to worry.” However, the boys will be taking a short break before preparing for their first solo concert in February. The performance below. Thank goodness he’s alright. I wonder if he got a little disoriented after the stage got dark.

Super Junior’s Siwon spends his first day of New Year in the Philippines

2012 is here, and it looks like Super Junior’s Siwon will be spending his first day of New Year in the Philippines. On January 1st, Siwon tweeted, “On my way to the airport now going to MANILA! A new year new night in the MANILA PHILIPPINES ! Yoohoo!” Along with the update, he attached a photo he took while waiting for his hair to be styled. The Super Junior member looks excited to visit the Philippines again. He later updated his Twitter and wrote, “Just arrived. whats up manila! still new day here!”, and uploaded the photo of everyone waiting at the airport.

Just before the first day of the New Year ended, Siwon wrote his New Year’s greeting and revealed that he is in the Philippines for work. He wrote, “Everyone I’m in Manila to for an advertisement shooting! It’s still not pass 12AM here so i give a greeting..^^ A lot had happened on 2011, for 2012, stay happy and a happy new year I love you^^!”

Filipino fans became excited after discovering that Siwon is currently in the Philippines. They are probably hunting down Siwon as you read.

It’s 2012 and what better way to kick off the new year than watching a cute New Year greetings by U-KISS? If you watch this video, I guarantee that you’ll be left smiling. MBLAQ Unveils Teaser for Scribble

MBLAQ is preparing to kick the new year off with a bang as they plan to release their 4th mini album on January 3rd at midnight (KST). To get everyone ready, they’ve revealed their MV teaser for “Scribble”. J. Tune Camp revealed the teaser on their YouTube page. Super Junior’s Sungmin Exposes Leeteuk’s Little Hobby

MBC TV aired the special “We Got Married - Honey” episode on December 31st where an acquaintance of the couples appeared on the show. Super Junior’s Leeteuk’s special guest was Sungmin and boy did he reveal something special about his leader. Sungmin, who was behind the shadow box, revealed that Leeteuk has a tendency of collecting female guest phone numbers. He explained, “Leeteuk has been hosting a radio show for a long time now. Whenever a female guest appears, he would exchange numbers with them. However, he never actually contacted them.” Leeteuk was completely surprised by Sungmin’s statement and shouted at him, to which Sungmin made everyone laugh with “Is [collecting] numbers your hobby?” Bae Gi Sung, who was also a guest as an acquaintance of Kim Won Joon, also added to the fire, “I appeared as a guest for Leeteuk’s radio show many times, but whenever I asked him for his number he said that his agency wouldn’t let him use his phone. I think he’s only exchanging female guests’ numbers.” Leeteuk tried to explain and claimed it was wrong, but Gi Sung laughed with everyone and said “That’s not wrong. You’re wrong!” Awww…poor Leeteuk. That’s a bit embarrassing. I’m sure his “wife”, Kang Sora was a bit shocked with his little hobby. If anything, it was certainly a good laugh.
