G.NA is inspired by the members of her former group, Five Girls

G.NA recently met up with Star News for an interview where she thanked the people at Cube Entertainment, her fans, and the members of Five Girls, her former group. G.NA was originally supposed to debut as a member of Five Girls with Yu Bin, Uee, Yang Ji Won, and Jeon Hyosung but was unable to due to some issues with the agency. The group eventually separated and most went on to debut in different agencies. Yu Bin debuted with the Wonder Girls, Uee with After School, and Jeon Hyosung became a member of Secret. The leader and oldest of the girls was G.NA, who later debuted as a solo singer and since then has led a successful career. Despite having never debuted as a group, the Five Girls members still keep in contact with each other and have remained as close friends. G.NA commented on the Five Girls saying, “We will always be there for each other no matter where we may be. When I made my debut in Japan Hyosung congratulated me and Uee had watched my “Top Girl” comeback performance and gave me some advice. The Five Girls’ members always inspire me. As the oldest one I want to improve and lead a successful life.”
