Kim Hyun Joong’s debut Japanese single ‘Kiss Kiss’ sells over 100,000 copies!

Kim Hyun Joong has managed to grab a hold of the #2 spot on the Oricon Weekly chart by selling over 100,000 copies of his debut Japanese single, “Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy“! The Oricon Chart data released on the 31st shows that Kim Hyun Joong came second to AKB48‘s popular sister group SKE48. Kim Hyun Joong is the first overseas artist in nine months to have accomplished this feat. The last to have achieved this was actor Jang Geun Suk with his debut single “Let Me Cry”. This is also the first time in 3 years and 7 months for Kim Hyun Joong to place on the Oricon chart, as he previously grabbed the #4 spot back in June of 2008 with ”Lucky Days” as a member of SS501. Currently, Kim Hyun Joong is focusing on his Japanese activities and will be performing for 20,000 fans at the Yokohama Arena on February 5th. Congratulations to Kim Hyun Joong!
