Taiwanese girl group Super 7 disses SNSD, calls them plastic

Oh lordy, my sides hurt, I can’t stop laughing. Taiwanese girl group Super 7 has just earned the wrath of many SONEs around the world after their quite blunt, yet shocking comments on KPOP girl group SNSD. Super 7 first made the news after their MV, “Don’t Nag”, featured the group wearing similar outfits to SNSD’s “Hoot”. While fans were divided on this (”they copied their concept” to “it’s just a concept picture, not like SNSD copyrighted it” - then what about After School’s Diva concept?), it didn’t seem too big at the time. But now, Super 7 has dug themselves quite a deep grave after an interview they gave in a Taiwanese magazine. They first commented, “At first we were so offended so we cried a lot but we now understand why the MV might have upset the fans. We also feel that criticism is another form of interest, and are able to better deal with negative comments.” But it didn’t stop there - they further said, “There are a few SNSD members that can sing and dance well, but the rest of the members have no special appeals. The SNSD girls have all undergone plastic surgery, but we are natural beauties and their bodies can’t even compare to ours.” And if that wasn’t enough, they then turned a 180 and mentioned, “We’re not saying that we will ever be able to be better than SNSD, but we will view them as our role models.” So ladies, basically, in a roundabout way, you dissed yourselves. I mean, that’s really harsh as a rookie group, you know? I’m just amused that they did have the nerve to diss SNSD, then say that SNSD is their role model. To put the icing on the cake, Super 7’s concept revolves around an average age of 22 years old and a “C” cup chest size. Mmm, lovely. Good luck girls, I do hope that somehow you’ll get out of this mess because the wrath of SONEs is much to bear.
