Akanishi Jin has announced that he will be releasing a new single, titled “Seasons”, on December 28th! He has also revealed information about his fan event at Yokohama Arena on January 7th, 2012.
The single will be released in two different versions, a regular and limited edition. The regular edition comes with a special 16-page photo booklet, while the limited edition includes a DVD containing the title track’s PV and its making-of video. Following the single’s four seasons theme, fans will be able to choose from four different cover jackets for the limited edition.
Regarding his title track, Akanishi said, “It’s a love song, but it is not only for men and women, or lovers. It’s a song of love toward everything, including family or friends who you cherish.”
Fans who purchase both the limited and regular editions of his upcoming mini-album “TEST DRIVE featuring JASON DERULO“, which will be released on December 7th, will have the privilege of buying tickets for the fan event over others.
During the fan event, fans will be able to listen to songs for his upcoming U.S. album, ask questions directly to Akanishi during the public interview, enjoy a live performance, and receive a surprise present that Akanishi prepared. There are also plans for a simultaneous broadcast of the fan event in Los Angeles.
