Upon knowing f(x)’s Amber I never really thought of her full name until today. On the first episode of ‘Invincible Youth 2′, the new cast ‘G8‘ members gathered to have a talk while on their way to the village of Daebu-do. That’s when the cast members realized that they never learned Amber’s full name.
Amber revealed, “In hanja [Chinese characters], my name is Liu Yi Yun (劉逸雲).” She then revealed that her full English name was ‘Amber Josephine Liu’.
Lee Soo Geun the host of the show then remarked, “It sounds like a name given to a neighbourhood bully,” which caused laughter everywhere.
Amber also added, “I also have a Korean name that my friends called me with in the States — ‘Eunyoung.’
I have got to say that her Chinese name is so pretty! What do you think of her name?
