On March 15th, Johnny’s Entertainment confirmed that SMAP’s Kimura Takuya’s drivers license was suspended. During the course of six month, Kimura was caught speeding twice. He was caught driving 12mph over the speed limit in Chiba last September and earlier this year in Tokyo. Johnny’s Entertainment said, “Kimura himself deeply regrets that he has done something shameful as an adult. He expresses his deepest apologies.” He has already paid the fines for both violations.
Well, speeding happens but it is quite dangerous so it is understandable that his driver’s license is suspended. Hopefully he catches himself from speeding the next time he drives after he gets his license back.
