SNSD In A French Magazine ? Epic Fail Again

remember my first voice here, I did some criticize about the French media and their mistakes or criticizes in their report and article on the Kpop. Today I will talk about an article about SNSD who was published in a French TV Magazine called “Télé 7 Jours” and wrote by the assistant editor who think that Girls’ Generation are the next Spice Girls (Yes in France we only know the Spice Girls, our girls bands don’t exist anymore and were so bad). I don’t will translate the article because this article it’s really really bad, it as was written very quickly and we clearly see that the journalist doesn’t know anything about the Girls’ Generation. So first, before introducing our girls the journalist talk about the Spice Girl who were dominated the world their “Girl Power” in the 90’s and that right now it’s the Girls’ Generation’s turns to dominate the world, just the teens of all around the world. Yes, because Kpop fan are just teens so when you are in your twenties for the French media you are too old for being a Kpop fan. Oh and before dominating the world they started by the Japan and then all the Asia, but what about their success in Korea ? Then, there is finally the introduction from the group and maybe the big mistake of the article: Girls’ Generation have been spotted by a reality show ! Do the journalist think that Girls Go To The School it’s a korean version of Star Academy/Pop Star and they were locked in their dorm like Big Brothers ? Because I really don’t know why he wrote this. Oh and he only knows Taeyeon from the group, oh man you can mention all the girls name no ? Because it’s feels like Taeyeon is just the main member and the others are nothing. Ok we can say that they did some research in the group because they mentioned Gee and listened it and made a comparison with a Mylène Farmer’s song which is really far-fetched. Yes, Gee is their biggest hit but no their first song. Afterward, the article talk about their success in the Sm Town Live in Paris, the Music Bank in Paris on February and of course their new song “The Boys” which according to the journalist it’s only an English song. But the end it’s really wrong because it’s said that the Girls’ currently finishing their recording for their American album which will release on 2012 and produced entirely by Teddy Riley. Oh really ? And what about their Korean Album ? I think the man forgot that they are Korean, especially that they debuted 4 years ago and they worked hard to be Girls’ Generation. When you read this article you really think that they debuted like 4 months ago, they have only 2 songs and their success is just short lived. So to conclude, the French media did one more time a very bad job. They just think that Kpop is a new trend and that they can do what they want when they are talking about it. I’m really just disappointed at this, and I just want to know if in the other countries the medias are so bad when they are talking about Kpop.
