An OSEN Interview on Oct 19th gave SECRET a chance to review SNSD’s “The Boys” MV.The Girls were less than speechless after seeing the release. Although they only had great things to say about their competition! Isn’t this how good competition should be? They stated, “We saw SNSD sunbaenims’ (address of respect for seniors) music video today. Even to us, they were so awesome.”
“SNSD was so beautiful in the music video. I thought, ‘This is SNSD,’” admired Sun Hwa, she even gave them a thumbs up!Other members chimed in with their own opinions as well. I think each response is cute and very nice of them to comment. I wasn’t expecting negative comments anyway though.
“The director for our music video and SNSD’s music video is the same person. He has shot our music videos since our debut but this time, he also shot SNSD’s music video. The director shot SNSD’s music video before ours so we joked, ‘Do you like the SNSD unnis more than us?’ Quipped Ji Eun. I wonder how her directer will respond to her little jab lol.
“The fact that we could stand on stage with the SNSD sunbaenims is such an honor. We know this is a great opportunity and we will try very hard.” SECRET’S Hyo Sung added.
Now it makes me wonder how SNSD felt about SECRETS music video. It would be fun to hear a response from the other end! They both have so much respect for each other, it’s amazing in such a cutthroat industry. Especially when people expect you to chop others down with your words to get ahead. You go girls, you make a good example to others!
