Heart2Heart’s Facebook Official gets bashed

On October 3rd, Heart2Heart, new American boy band, released their song “Facebook Official”. Their group’s name stands for “the connection they would like to have with their fans across the world.” lol what? The member consists of Chad Future (Leader), Nico, Pretty Boi Pete, Brayden and KX. The video was directed by Chad Future and David Lehre. The Choreography was done by KX. Their groups is managed by Nick Reed, and they were mentored by Lance Bass of N*SYNC. The groups had two teasers for their song and was already criticized for their resemblance of Teen Top’s “Super Luv” and their group name being the same as 4minute’s song “Heart to Heart”. And, after releasing their song today, they were criticized because they tagged their song with random Korean groups such as: 2NE1, BIGBANG, Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, B1A4, KARA, and JYJ. Netizens commented, “Please remove the K-POP tags”, “They ripped off of other K-POP Groups”, “The lyrics and the choreography are lacking”, “The song is horrible”, “Dear Heart2Heart Boys, please try something else… not Kpop.” Other complimented the group by saying, “I don’t see how they’re copying K-pop! They’re American, they’re singing, they’re dancing. I like it, this is American Pop”, and “Aww this video is great! Good job guys, you guys are great!” Here is the song. How did this become song, I mean “Facebook Official”, really? The tag is what really blows my mind! How are they relevant to 2NE1, Big Bang, Super Junior, etc.? They probably have less haters if they didn’t have those tags. And the choreography, I’m not impressed. I found the lyrics hilarious though, “Heart2Heart is back” from where? What are your thoughts on this?
