ELFs had been anticipating a new Super Junior member to be on the variety show “We Got Married” after Kangin, which had eventually be determined to be our leader Leeteuk with actress Kang Sora.
The unlikely pairing had got fans wondering about the reason behind the pair, in which the PD of the show, Kim Jun Hyun, had took some time to explain the pairing.
Towards Kang Sora, he had said, “Meeting her in person, she’s an honest person and knows how to show who she truly is. She has a character that I’m sure will charm anyone, male or female.” And with Kang Sora’s limited knowledge towards idol groups, he was sure it will be some nice, hilarious moments between the two.
For Leeteuk, the PD had seen something we hadn’t seen: “When we asked questions about his personality or ex-girlfriends, he suddenly turned very shy. We saw a side of him that you can’t see on variety programs, and all of it just felt very new to us.”
And as a conclusion, the PD had revealed his actual thought on the couple, “Seeing them through pictures, I thought they fit together particularly well, in terms of visuals. You’ll be able to see a shy Leeteuk and a lovely new side of Kang Sora.”
I’d definitely be interested in Teukie’s shy side. However, I still think that Leeteuk needs some rest. He’s on a whole bunch of variety shows already, especially Hello Baby, Strong Heart, and now WGM, in which he is one of the main featured MCs or guests on the show. Serious, Teukie, don’t push yourself to hard…
