SHINee wraps up their first Singapore concert
On September 10, SHINee captivated the hearts of their Singaporean fans with a concert, “SHINee the First Concert in Singapore ‘SHINee World’!”
Held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the concert showed signs of success even before it started. Thousands of fans gathered up to cheer for the boys’ first concert in Singapore; one that fans had been waiting for for two months.
Tickets went on sale back on July 30th through SISTIC, and all seats were sold out within 45 minutes of them opening. Over a thousand fans lined up outside offline ticketing booths in hopes of catching a ticket.
Though the members were exhausted from their long journey, they performed to their fullest that very night for their 6,000 fans at the stadium which took 5 nights to set-up.
As a special touch for the concert, two Singaporean children were even handpicked to be a part of the much admired SHINee World Concert. 5 years old Euclase Lim Rae and 7 years old Baptist Lim Siang Leong made their appearance when the SHINee boys appeared transformed as angels and sang “Lullaby” to them.
SHINee performed a total of 30 songs, including their all-time hits, “Juliette,” “Hello,” and “Ring Ding Dong.” The boys also put on individual stages that left fans screaming for more Key paired up with Taemin for “My First Kiss” while Taemin went on to perform “Boy Meets Girl.” Jonghyun wowed with his smooth cover of “This Woman’s Work” and Minho put on a show with “OMG.” Onew wrapped up the individual stages with “The Princess That Can’t Sleep.”
